Resolved Question: Just moved-- how do I make friends?

I'm in a long distance relationship, because I just moved 3 hours away from where I used to. I'm not in school currently (college next year), and I am just about to start work. I'm 17, and I'm used to the music/concert scene... being busy every day. And now I moved here, and don't know a single person!! How can I make friends?
